Theme Concert: Big Bang (MPV)
Description
NB: This is a Musikken På Vrangen (MPV), that is, an outreach concert where the whole programme is not played, but which serves as an appetiser for one of the "real" concerts - among others 22.04 at 19.30 at HEART. In the beginning there was chaos - so it is told in Greek mythology. Looking at it scientifically, we must admit that we know nothing about what happened before the Big Bang. On the other hand, we can follow how the universe has developed since the first explosion - from the earliest stars, to the second and now third generation, which paved the way for our solar system and life on Earth. Astrophysicists also have a theory about the end of the universe: how the energy slowly dissipates until everything becomes nothing. Ensemble MidtVest interprets this cosmic story in music - through seven stations, seven works and seven moments in a kaleidoscope of the history of time and space.
