Description

With Waterloo, Messiaen Quartet Copenhagen puts the spotlight on the dramatic meeting between strong musical personalities. Beethoven's monumental Kreutzer Sonata is a major work in the chamber music literature and expresses tension, virtuosity and intense dialogue between the instruments and the cast of characters in Beethoven's life. The concert revolves around struggle, resistance and transformation and looks at which works were created from those energies.
