Symphonic Morning

Description

Come into the engine room and watch the orchestra and conductor at work on the final preparations before a concert. On four Thursday mornings you can experience the first part of the dress rehearsal before the evening's concert. Some dress rehearsals run without interruptions. At other times you may experience the conductor stopping along the way if there are a few details that need to be put in place before the evening's concert. Exactly which part of the evening's concert is played this morning is only decided during the week, but most often it will be the works that can also be heard in the first half in the evening. The audience meets in Øvre Foyer, half an hour before the dress rehearsal starts, for a short introduction, before going into the hall to the 2nd balcony, from which the first part of the dress rehearsal is watched.
