Hellerup Kammermusikforening
Hellerup
Hellerup Kammermusikforening's purpose, activities, concert season, financial year, benefits, prices, enrolment and payment.
The association's purpose is to arrange a number of concerts a year - predominantly chamber music - in Gentofte Municipality.
We aim for a high musical standard and engage Danish as well as foreign ensembles, often with musicians from the younger generation too.
Naturally, resources set their limits, but in recent years it has come to 6 concerts per season, with which we have been able to delight our members and ourselves with a great many excellent concerts.
In addition, the association holds a number of children's concerts (typically 3) during the season.
The programme season runs from 1/7 to 30/6, while the financial year, owing to the Kunststyrelsen's grant practice, has to follow the calendar year. In recent years the association has been pleased to receive handsome operating grants from Gentofte Municipality, Kunststyrelsen and from "Solistforeningen af 1921".
A general meeting is held in connection with the first concert of the new year - normally in January. There the accounts for the previous year are presented, and the membership fee for the coming concert season is adopted.
Membership is taken out before the start of the season for the whole season, which gives you several benefits:
– A single subscription for the season's 6 concerts, with a large discount compared with the single-ticket price.
– At the interval you get a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and biscuits.
– 50 % discount on the ticket price for accompanying adults at the association's children's concerts.
– 1 guest ticket per season.
– If you are unable to attend a single concert, the membership card can be lent out.
Membership fee for the 2022-2023 season
