Free concerts between sky and sea at Ofelia Plads
From 15 June until 31 August, Det Kongelige Teater, Jeudan and GoBoat once again welcome you to the free concert series KLASSISK PÅ KYSSETRAPPEN.
On eight Thursdays across the summer you can experience some of Denmark's best musicians setting classical tones in new surroundings, when pop artists, orchestral musicians and string ensembles all gather on the floating stage in the harbour at Ofelia Plads. As something new, this year we are also introducing a brand-new talent scheme, in which two of the concert series' established artists invite a young talent to give a short, introductory solo concert on the floating barge.
Where & when
All concerts are held at Kyssetrappen at Ofelia Plads. The concerts start at 17.00, but before the concerts, at 16.20, there will be a conversation with the day's artist moderated by a music journalist. It is free to attend and registration is not necessary.
About the concert series
KLASSISK PÅ KYSSETRAPPEN is organised by Det Kongelige Teater and Jeudan, who together own, run and curate Ofelia Plads. Since 2017 the partnership has set the stage for KLASSISK PÅ KYSSETRAPPEN and created new, unique concert experiences in the heart of the capital. This year's concert series is held in collaboration with GoBoat and is supported by William Demant Fonden and Augustinus Fonden.

About Ofelia Plads
Ofelia Plads is one of Copenhagen's cultural hubs. The unique experience space offers, among other things, concerts, theatre performances, art exhibitions and sporting events. The square is located in the heart of the capital, between sky and sea on the old Kvæsthusbro in Copenhagen's harbour basin. It is run and curated by two very different players: Det Kgl. Teater and Denmark's largest listed property company, Jeudan. The foundation for the collaboration is the two partners' shared wish to create unforgettable experiences in unique surroundings – for the enjoyment of the widest possible crowd of people.
