Abildgård Kirke is a church in Frederikshavn. It was built from 1969 to 1970 by royal building inspector Leopold Teschl. The church stands on a plot of roughly 7,000 m² on Hjørringvej. In the northern part of the property there is a car park, followed by the church building. With its location close to several residential areas, mainly inhabited by elderly people, the church is relatively well attended. Together with Fladstrand Kirke, the church forms Abildgård parish. The church is architecturally significantly different from the usual Danish churches, in that it is built of red brick with various degrees of firing. Source: Wikipedia (Abildgård Kirke)
