Bremen Teater lies in the heart of Copenhagen on Nyropsgade. We also run our bar and café Kolme in the adjoining premises and our nightclub Natbar every Friday and Saturday.
Our hall is preserved in its original condition with plush PH seats and Arne Jacobsen lamps, creating an atmosphere found nowhere else in the city. At "Bremen" – as it was christened when co-owner Niels Hausgaard took it over in 2009 – we present comedy, music, lectures, podcast shows, talks, film and more.
We want to embrace a broad range and do things differently, and for audience and artists alike to feel that it is their place too when they step through the doors and are caught by the unique atmosphere found on this plot.
Bremen Teater also runs the venue Hotel Cecil in the inner city.
