Spentrup Church is the parish church of Spentrup parish in Randers Nordre deanery, Århus diocese. Spentrup lies north of Randers in Randers Municipality; until the municipal reform of 2007 it lay in Purhus Municipality, and until the municipal reform of 1970 it lay in Nørhald Herred in Randers County). The chancel and nave were built in the Romanesque period of hewn granite ashlar over an ogee-profiled plinth. The nave was extended to the west in the late Romanesque period. The tower was built in the late Gothic period, the porch dates from the 1800s. In the north wall the Romanesque windows are still in use. A walled-up Romanesque window can be seen in the chancel's east wall. The north door is walled up but can still be seen. Source: Wikipedia (Spentrup Kirke)
