Tivoli - Glassalen

Glassalen in Tivoli is a concert hall and theatre building in Tivoli. It dates originally from 1863, but burned down completely in an act of Schalburg sabotage in 1944. The architectural character and special atmosphere of Glassalen were created by Poul Henningsen, who rebuilt Glassalen in 1946. After 1902 it was used for theatre, revue and more. Glassalen can seat up to 967 people.
