Solistkoret's All Saints' concert

Krista Audere

Description

From darkness and fear towards light and peace This year's All Saints' concerts offer a programme that moves freely between centuries and forms of expression. Music about grief and longing, but also about light, consolation and reconciliation. With music by Ildebrando Pizzetti, Johannes Brahms and Gustav Mahler, the audience meets some of the most poignant voices of the classical repertoire, side by side with strong expressions from our own time. For the first time Solistkoret collaborates with conductor Krista Audere, one of Europe's most exciting younger choral conductors. She won first prize in the Eric Ericson Award in 2021, and has since made her mark internationally with a musical leadership marked by precision, energy and poetic nerve. Programme: Ildebrando Pizzetti (1880-1968): Requiem (excerpts) Johannes Brahms (1833-1897): Schaffe in mir, Gott, ein rein Herz Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) / Gottwald: Urlicht Maxim Shalygin (b. 1985): Blessing Tadeja Vulc (b. 1978): Sine Sole Nihil Sum Eoghan Desmond (b. 1989): I am Pēteris Barisons (1904-1947): Zilie Sapņu Kalni Performers: Krista Audere, conductor Det Norske Solistkor
