Rossetti Songs

Description

Soprano and organ – world premiere of Herman Vogt's «Rossetti Songs». Herman Vogt's (1976–) Rossetti Songs is a song cycle composed for soprano and organ for Ann-Helen Moen and Anders Eidsten Dahl. The work consists of five songs to poems by Christina Rossetti. The poems are characterised by a powerful expression and a sensitive intensity. The music can be described as a combination of freer tone painting and varied strophic form. In addition, Anders Eidsten Dahl plays organ works by Herman Vogt.
