Lunsj med kultur: Beethoven Sonatas vol. 11

Einar Steen-Nøkleberg

Description

Steen-Nøkleberg had a sensational triple debut in 1970 with three concerts in a row (a piano evening, a harpsichord evening and a clavichord evening). He studied with Nicolai Dirdal and Hans Leygraf, but also regards his organist training with Arild Sandvold as highly significant. For 40 years he has performed with orchestras at home and abroad and received a number of prizes: the German universities' prize 1969, the Norwegian Pianist Competition 1972, the Critics' Prize 1975, the Spellemann Prize for Classical Artist of the Year in 1976, the Lindeman Prize 1982, the Grieg Prize 1992 and appointment as Knight First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1994. Programme: Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata in G major, Op. 31 No. 1 Sonata in E major, Op. 14 No. 1 Sonata in D major, Op. 10 No. 3 The concert series is a collaboration between Gamle Raadhus Scene, Vegard Lund and Oslo Quartet Series. Tickets: Kr 150,- (Opera members 100,-, Students/PublikUng kr 50,-) Feel free to bring a packed lunch; we serve free coffee and a little something sweet. To be sure of a ticket, we recommend buying it through TicketCo. Provided it is not completely sold out, tickets can also be bought at the door from 30 minutes before the concert. PublikUng PublikUng is an organisation that lowers the threshold for young people to go to opera and classical music concerts. The vision is to spread interest in these art forms and make them more accessible to those between 18 and 30. PublikUng now has just under 2000 members, and it costs only kr 50,- to join. The only rule is that if you have received a free or very cheap ticket to a concert/performance, the registration is binding. You MUST then use your ticket. If you do not, there is unfortunately a fine. There is always a long waiting list and someone else who would like to go in your place if you cannot. Please let us know if you are not going to use your ticket after all. You can also give it to a friend. Sign up via publikung.no If for some reason you are unable to book tickets via TicketCo, you can send an email to: info@operatilfolket.no
