TUP and RØST

Description

Soloists from the talent development programme at NMH play with Regionskorps Øst, conducted by Anna Hartmann. About The Talent Development Programme at NMH (TUP) TUP is aimed at young people aged 13 to 19 who maintain a high level on their main instrument. The Academy of Music's talent development offering is part of a national talent development programme in which each institution covers its own geographical area. The application deadline for TUP is 15 March. RØST The regional band is an offer for those who play in school bands and want extra challenges. The band aims to motivate further musical and personal development, and to prepare the musicians for an engaged, lifelong involvement in the band movement. RØST works on a two-year perspective, with supplementary auditions after the first year. Anna Hartmann Conductor Anna Hartmann trained at the University of Stavanger and the Royal Northern College in Manchester, and works with both amateur and professional ensembles and orchestras. From 2021 to 2023 she was assistant conductor of Arctic Philharmonic, the first to hold this position. Since then she has conducted several professional orchestras in Norway and abroad, including Stavanger Symfoniorkester, Odense Symfoniorkester and Jönköping Sinfonietta. Day to day, Anna is the regular conductor of Stabekk janitsjarorkester. CC: Free admission Photo: NMH
