Description

TROLSK - A family show about being different What is the uncanny? Is it the wind tearing at things and the rustling in the dark? Is it something scary, or can it also be lovely? Is it perhaps just a feeling you have inside you? Where Kat comes from, the uncanny is seen as dangerous, and being a witch is even worse. In this concert show we meet Kat, who has run away from her home town, a place where her mother was accused and convicted of being a witch. Kat is afraid that she has inherited her mother's uncanny powers, but she thinks she has learned to catch the uncanny and lock it away inside herself. Even so, it flares up sometimes. Kat does not want to be uncanny, but cannot help it. Is there something wrong with her? TROLSK is a show with dance and words by Marie Skogvang Stork. The music is written by Liv Andrea Hauge. We can almost hear the uncanny spark in the music. The different instruments of the orchestra create a world full of sounds and tone colours, power and tension. Come with us into a world where the beautiful can be dangerous, and the kind can be suspicious. Here we must be on our guard as we follow Kat, who grows both stronger and braver on her way to finding herself. The show is suitable for children from age 10. The 15.00 performance is Relæxt. Relæxt concerts are open to everyone, but specially adapted for children, adults and families who find it challenging to attend ordinary concerts.
