Oslo Spektrum Arena AS, popularly known as Oslos Storstue (Oslo's Grand Hall), is an indoor multi-purpose arena centrally located in the middle of Oslo. With a combination of standing and seated places, Oslo Spektrum fills with concerts and shows when Norwegian and international artists visit Oslo. In addition, the arena hosts sports competitions, fairs, events and conferences. Today concerts and shows make up the main part of Oslo Spektrum's offering to the public. The maximum capacity for concerts with a combination of seated and standing places is approx. 11 500 people. For smaller concerts an extensive curtain system can divide the hall and adapt it to the size of the event. The arena's floor area of around 5000 square metres can easily be adapted to different events, anything from standing concerts, fairs, events and conferences to congresses. The arena opened in December 1990 and is today owned by Nova Spektrum.
