TEDDY BEAR CONCERT – AUTUMN

Take your favourite cuddly toy or teddy bear by the hand, and come with OS to the Teddy Bear Concert. Once again we are throwing open the doors to our big, musical playhouse and welcoming children, adults and teddy bears of all shapes and sizes to a teddy bear journey at Odense Symfoniorkester. It is the year’s last teddy bear concert; outside it is cold, dark and blustery. So we will snuggle right up together with our teddy bears, and Vicki and Bob must find their wellies and pumpkin lanterns and provide some cosy, warm music that suits the season. The theme this time is opera, so together we will experience both the classical music, where OS puts life into all the many instruments, AND the greatest song of them all. For that purpose we have invited the young mezzo-soprano Emma Oemann as soloist. And the concert will also actively involve you and your teddy bear – so we hope you are ready for an experience where you will not only lean back in your seat, but also forwards, up and down. Together with all our “teddy animals”, OS takes you on a journey. The concert starts in our foyer, where there will be play and activities. After the concert there will also be a smaller event in the foyer, which you can enjoy while eating your packed lunch, and our little café will be open with treats for both teddy bears and children of all ages. The concert is suitable for children between 3 and 8 years, who must be accompanied by adults.
