Piano Quintet - NOVO Quartet and Filip Michalak

Description

NOVO Quartet's journey began in 2018, and at the start the young quartet could not even agree on a name, so the organiser of their first concert christened them NOVO, because the quartet was new. Eight years later the quartet is a recognised name, and at this concert they have teamed up with the pianist Filip Michalak. Together they perform Shostakovich's Piano Quintet in G minor and, after the interval, Brahms' Piano Quintet in F minor. Programme: Shostakovich / Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 57 Brahms / Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34
