Concert with the Prisoners’ Choir at Frederiksholm Church

Description

Welcome to a concert with the Prisoners’ Choir (Fangekoret) at Frederiksholm Church. The Prisoners’ Choir breaks down the wall of prejudice with song and stories about what went wrong, when they give a concert at Frederiksholm Church on 11/11 2026 at 19. The choir performs songs that the singers have written themselves, as well as information about the choir’s work and life behind the walls. The lyrics are relevant and are about guilt, faith, missteps, forgiveness, hatred, hope and remorse. Since 2005 the Prisoners’ Choir has sung in countless churches around the country and given concerts to full houses. Pastor Morten Sternberg opens the concert with a short devotion. Ticket price 75 kr. All proceeds go undiminished to the parish’s Christmas aid.
