Description
Copenhagen Soloists perform Bach's Mass in B minor, a work regarded as the greatest and most significant sacred work in music history. The work is among the last things Bach managed to complete in his final year of life (1749) - a Missa Tota, a whole mass, which is a colossal summing-up of the baroque church tradition. The ensemble performs the work in a soloistic format, with just 11 singers sharing choir and solos, together with an orchestra on baroque instruments. DR has previously broadcast the ensemble's performance of the work. 2026 is Copenhagen Soloists' 20th anniversary year. Duration 2 hours and 10 minutes including interval. Tickets 275 kr., U/25 205 kr. Programme: Bach / Mass in B minor
