Copenhagen Soloists
Copenhagen Soloists is a soloistic vocal and instrumental ensemble specialising in historically informed performance practice. The singers share both choir and solo parts.
Since its foundation in 2006 the ensemble has performed a number of oratorio vocal works as well as opera and instrumental Baroque works. In 2016 the ensemble expanded its repertoire to the Viennese Classical period and Romanticism.
The ensemble has released four CDs: Monteverdi – L'Orfeo; Monteverdi – Vespers; Vivaldi – Dixit Dominus, Magnificat and Gloria; Mozart – Requiem. The ensemble has been broadcast by DR P2 several times.
