For the second year running, Musikkens Hus presents its very own Christmas show in collaboration with Aalborg Symfoniorkester. Audiences can look forward to happy reunions with Vocal Line and the hosts Cilius and Bruun, and on the soloist side we find Malte Ebert and Oh Land as well as the soprano Andrea Lykke and the tenor Jonathan Koppel. A warm, funny and thoroughly musical evening awaits the audience, with a string of performers on stage in the Concert Hall. In 2025 Malte Ebert gave a free mini-concert outside the building on Musikkens Plads when the Christmas lights on the façade were switched on. This year he moves into the warmth of the Concert Hall as a soloist at the Musikkens Hus Christmas Show. With a host of hit singles Malte Ebert has made his mark as one of the most ambitious, versatile and unpredictable entertainers on the Danish music scene. Especially in a live setting, where his concerts combine music, humour and theatre in a format that is both uplifting and entertaining, but also personal and moving. He moves effortlessly between the heartfelt and the self-ironic and manages to create an atmosphere with room for both community singing, reflection and smiles. Once again this year the proceedings are tied together by the bubbly host duo Frederik Cilius and Rasmus Bruun - known from, among other things, Operarejsen and the satirical series Orkestret on DR as well as Den Korte Radioavis. In addition to Malte Ebert, you can also look forward to Oh Land enriching the evening with her characteristic voice and her creative universe, which will undoubtedly contribute to the Christmas magic. The musical backdrop is provided by Aalborg Symfoniorkester and the modern a cappella choir Vocal Line, conducted by Line Groth, whom many of the house's guests know from the popular Syng, Syng, Syng events. On the soloist side, Musikkens Hus can, besides Malte Ebert and Oh Land, also reveal the soprano Andrea Lykke, who has sung the title role in the musical The Bodyguard, among other things, and most recently was a guest soloist on the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli's European tour in 2025. Look forward, too, to experiencing the up-and-coming tenor Jonathan Koppel, who has already made his mark on the Danish opera scene, when he sings in Christmas with us. The symphony orchestra is supplemented by a rhythm section, and on the conductor's podium stands Henrik Vagn Christensen.
