Description
BACH FRIDAY No expense spared Friday 27 November at 17.00 Take a well-earned break from the shopping frenzy when, for the second time, we hold "Bach Friday" with organ music by J. S. Bach on the last Friday in November. The performer is the church's organist, Lars Frederiksen. It is 100% recycled material, and the concert opens with the well-known "Air" from the Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major. This is followed by the great organ work Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor, then Bach/Gounod's "Ave Maria". Then two chorale preludes are played, "Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland" and "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme". The concert ends with a work by Ch.-M. Widor from Bach's Memento, "Marche du Veilleur du Minuit". Price: Free admission
