BRIDGERTON AND BEYOND

Description

The Regency era will leap out of the music stands when OS invites you to a Bridgerton concert with music from the legendary Netflix series. Here you and your girlfriends – or perhaps mothers and daughters? – can enjoy a whole evening with a rosé party in the foyer and a musical atmosphere of veiled intrigues, seductive suitors, anonymous gossip writers, deadly duels, lavish weddings, fateful romances and scandalous balls. We let the British winds blow in a musical programme that includes original music from Bridgerton, period music from the time in which the series is set, and unforgettable themes from other English films and TV series such as Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Emma and Sherlock Holmes. Should you be tempted to put on an Empire gown, jewellery, fan, tiaras or silk gloves (or tailcoat and cravat) at the concert hall, that is perfectly fine with us – but you can also just come as you are. Odense Symfoniorkester thanks Southbank Centre and the BBC for generous help in developing the concert.
