OPERA GALA

Description

The greatest choruses, overtures and intermezzi from the world's very best operas! Prepare for a ride on the great emotional rollercoaster when none other than Det Kongelige Operakor visits OS and takes us into the opera world's most grand and overwhelming moments. For two lavish evenings we turn the concert hall into a spectacular opera stage, where you can almost feel the glittering chandeliers, the red velvet curtain and the golden royal box in a tremendous concert that you must not miss if you love the opulent world of opera. Opera houses around the world have for over 400 years provided the stage for the greatest stories, dramas, intrigues, tragedies, comedies and love stories ever set to music. And this evening Denmark's largest professional choir - the 40 singers of Det Kongelige Operakor - and Odense Symfoniorkester give you a cavalcade of some of the most famous and beloved. Lean back into the great musical surge when choir and orchestra open the floodgates of emotion in everything from bottomless pain to ecstatic jubilation in the choral passages that are every opera composer's ultimate trump card.
