Dyssegårdskirken is a church in Dyssegård parish in Gentofte Kommune in (Region Hovedstaden). The church was designed by the architect Georg Palludan and was built in 1957-61 on the highest point in the parish, where Dyssegården originally lay. The church is oriented north-south with the entrance in the north and the altar in the south, and is an example of the functionalist style that preceded the completely untraditional churches. The altarpiece is a fresco, ‘Kristus stående over de opstandne’, by Holmer Trier. In 1991-96 the church's parish rooms were modernised, and a new chapel was built and, to the east, a parish hall with meeting rooms and offices. Source: Wikipedia (Dyssegårdskirken)
