Værket - Store Sal
Sven Dalsgaards Plads 1, Randers
Værket is a music and theatre venue in Randers. Værket was inaugurated on 1 October 1990 in the buildings on Mariagervej close to Randers Centrum that had previously housed Randers Elværk. The building complex had stood empty since the town's modern combined heat and power plant in the town's harbour was taken into use eight years earlier. The buildings were designed by the architect Julius Smith, and the special architecture was largely preserved during the renovation and conversion into a cultural centre.
