Concert of Light in the Cathedral - a light in the dark season with TSO

Description

As we stand on the threshold of the darkest months of the year, we in TSO invite you to a grand concert experience in a beautifully lit Nidarosdomen. Our mighty cathedral invites us to explore a wealth of different sound worlds and to play on the great contrasts. It gives us the resonant space to range across different eras and ensemble formations, to fill solo roles and to pull out all the stops with a full orchestra. At the same time, the different pieces of music will be accompanied by different lighting designs that make light, music and architecture melt together into a truly unique artistic experience. We promise yet another spectacular evening in our national sanctuary.
