Description

Mozart, Schönberg and Neuwirth - Chamber Music with Arktisk Filharmoni The fine acoustics at Bodøgaard Kunst & Kultur form the setting for a concert experience that lets you get close to the performers. The main work is Mozart's Clarinet Quintet, one of the most beloved works of chamber music, in which the warm tone of the clarinet melts together with the strings in a lyrical and singing expression. When the piece received its premiere in 1789, Mozart himself played the viola part. Before this we hear Fumbling and Tumbling for solo trumpet, by Olga Neuwirth. A playful and characterful piece in which the instrument's tonal and technical possibilities are at the centre. We also get a movement from Arnold Schönberg's wind quintet, where a light and elegant character is combined with the composer's refined musical language.
