The Nutcracker

Description

The Nutcracker - A pre-Christmas ballet with Christmas magic Welcome to our traditional pre-Christmas ballet, filled with beautiful music and dance, a big dose of love and a little pinch of magic! The pre-Christmas ballet The Nutcracker is a close collaboration between Arktisk Filharmoni and Pias Ballettstudio. This popular ballet is about Clara and all the adventures she experiences. It is Christmas, and at Clara's home many guests are arriving for a Christmas party. The mysterious Herr Drosselmeyer is among the guests, and he has made strange and magical gifts for all the children. Clara receives a wooden doll as a gift. It looks like a soldier and can crack nuts with its teeth. Eventually all the guests leave and the family goes to bed. During the night we are taken into Clara's dream world. It is a wonderful Christmas fantasy in which the nutcracker doll has come to life and takes her on exciting adventures, where she meets, among other things, the magical toys from the evening before. Together they fight the Rat Queen herself and travel with the Snow Fairy to the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy. We guarantee wonderful dance and music experiences and a solid portion of Christmas spirit!
