Description
A rhythmic and festive encounter with popular musical impulses from the USA and Latin America. The New Year's Concerts 2027 invite you to a rhythmic and festive encounter with popular musical impulses from the USA and Latin America. From George Gershwin's jazz-inspired Rhapsody in Blue, via Leonard Bernstein's hits from the musical West Side Story, to sensual dance from Mexico. The evening's conductor, Alondra de la Parra, comes from Mexico and has in a short time established herself as an internationally acclaimed and sought-after conductor. She is principal guest conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano and regularly leads orchestras such as the London Philharmonic and the Orchestre de Paris.
