Description

Maria Włoszczowska and Dénes Várjon come together in Beethoven's intense violin sonata in C minor, a work full of drama, power and restless energy, before the Engegårdkvartetten shows a lighter and more elegant side of the young composer. After the interval, Pierre Xhonneux, Amy Norrington and Dénes Várjon take the stage with the Gassenhauer Trio, named after an opera melody that became a plague in the streets of Vienna. Violin Sonata No. 7 in C minor, Op. 30 No. 2 - Maria Włoszczowska and Dénes Várjon String Quartet No. 2 in G major, Op. 18 No. 2 - Engegårdkvartetten Interval Trio in B-flat major, Op. 11 “Gassenhauer Trio” - Pierre Xhonneux, Maria Włoszczowska and Dénes Várjon
