Description
A sequel to last year's success! From Kiki's Delivery Service to One Piece and Super Mario Galaxy - Japanese popular culture has become a beloved companion to many of us. After last year's success, we invite you to another edition of Big in Japan, with musical highlights from various parts of the rich treasure chest of Japanese popular culture. This will be an unforgettable evening for everyone who loves Japanese fantasy worlds! Are you also a fan of the boundary-pushing films from Studio Ghibli, have you played Japanese video games, or perhaps you love cosplay and manga? Japanese popular culture engages and inspires many of us - whether through comics, film, games or other cultural expressions. Music often plays a central role, and that is precisely what is at the centre of Big in Japan 2. This concert offers everything from cult classic games such as Final Fantasy and Super Mario Galaxy to anime gems such as Delicious in Dungeon and One Piece, in addition to the obvious Studio Ghibli classics such as Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle. If you love Japanese popular culture, you won't want to miss Big in Japan 2! Programme and concept created by Magnus Johansson.
