Oslo Messingkvintett
Oslo Messingkvintett consists of active freelance musicians in the capital. They focus mainly on music originally written for the ensemble and commissioned works from Norwegian composers. The aim is to show the breadth and flexibility of the ensemble form, with classical, contemporary and rhythmic repertoire alike. OM combines several art forms such as video art in «Visual Brass» and film in «Stumfilm LIVE». In 2024 commissioned works by Eirik Hegdal and Christian Eriksen will be given their world premieres. OM receives ensemble funding from Kulturrådet for the third year in a row.
