Munor
Musikkselskapet Nordvegen (Munor) employs and organises professional musicians in Nord-Rogaland in close collaboration with the wider cultural scene. Munor is responsible or jointly responsible for a large number of concerts/performances throughout the year and collaborates with a range of musicians and other artists and performers. Munor's vision is Art music for all, and it has particularly seen it as its goal to safeguard the cultural heritage that classical music represents. Munor stands for love of music, joy of performing and passion, unforgettable experiences and new forms of expression. Munor inspires and is inspired, is inclusive, open and enriching for the local community. Music is quality of life! Four musicians are permanently employed at Munor and make up the Munorensemblet. One or more of these musicians take part in most of the events Munor is involved in. Munorensemblet has existed since 1981, when the group was established under the name Fylkesmusikerne i Nord-Rogaland, with employment through Rogaland Fylkeskommune. The ensemble consists of: Bernhard Gismervik - General manager / violin Almuth Chylek - Violin Tobias Tellmann - Cello Marina Johansson - Piano Photo: Haakon Nordvik
