Taffelpikene
Taffelpikene is Norway's only professional woodwind trio and in its current line-up has played together since 2014. The trio has received
a number of commissioned works from prominent Norwegian composers. The trio aims to increase the repertoire for woodwind trio and to be a leading ensemble in investing in
composers who work across, and in the borderland between, the genres of jazz, classical, electronic and folk music. By working closely with composers the trio helps develop art music and push the boundaries of what kind of music a traditional classical ensemble plays. A concert with Taffelpikene always offers something exciting and unexpected.
