New Year Gala

Description

Sparkling solo voices and festive waltz tunes: the New Year's Concert is the most delightful concert of the year. Step into the new year musically, together with effervescent soloists and an orchestra in party mood. Start the new year with bubbling Viennese waltzes, radiant voices and genuine New Year atmosphere, when Aarhus Symfoniorkester and two sensational soloists fill the hall with intoxicating melodies and operatic splendour. New Year naturally stands under the sign of the Viennese waltz! That is why we have opened the treasure chest of Viennese music and found the most festive works. Sparkling waltzes and shining solo arias; the New Year's concert will have you humming as you walk into the new year. On stage you can experience two delightful soloists: the sensational soprano Yana Kleyn's career is currently soaring. She is flanked by the Danish tenor Peter Lodahl, who after many years abroad (and in the chief conductor's chair) has now once again devoted himself to his Danish singing career. Together with Aarhus Symfoniorkester, the two wonderful singers get to let loose in the most festive music from the days when Vienna was the musical capital of the world. Programme: Johan Strauss and others: Wonderful Viennese waltzes and festive operetta arias
