MGK: VORES UNGE TALENTER

Description

Every year Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester puts the spotlight on talent development in the region. This year the close collaboration with Musikalsk Grundkursus - MGK-Syd's young classical musicians continues, who get a unique chance to work side by side with the orchestra's professional musicians. Through a concentrated course of workshops and rehearsals in Koncertsalen Alsion, the students sit beside the professional musicians and receive direct learning from them as mentors. For the young people this means both taking part in orchestra rehearsals, playing together in smaller groups and personal guidance from the orchestra's musicians. The course culminates when the students, together with Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester, take the stage for a final concert - an inspiring and festive evening that celebrates the meeting between seasoned orchestral musicians and new, budding talents.
