Musikforeningen på Folke Bernadottes Allé
København
Musikforeningen på Folke Bernadottes Allé is ready for a new season of fantastic concerts! We thank all musicians and audience members for a fantastic fourth season and welcome you to our fifth, starting on Sunday 19/9.
Musikforeningen på Folke Bernadottes Allé is happy to present the season programme for 21/22, which, like last year, offers great variety, high quality and big names.
The music society offers its audience a varied concert season that builds bridges between Denmark, Finland and Sweden. Either the musicians or the choice of repertoire in each concert will thus reflect a musical meeting between the countries. The society's founders, the cellists Tittit and Tobias van der Pals, share the artistic direction.
Musical experiences at a high professional level. The programme is broadly composed: great classical masterpieces are performed as well as intimate songs, staged drama, improvisations, avant-garde and much more.
The setting for the concerts is the atmospheric halls of Svenska Gustafskyrkan, centrally located in Copenhagen.
Tobias van der Pals talks about his vision for the music society: 'I find that in our digital age there is a growing need for experiences around live music – the intense, musical communication that is experienced most clearly in chamber music.
You sit right next to the musicians and feel their breathing as they set the music going. Then you are drawn deep into the music's colours, tension, drama; its beautiful and magnificent subtlety."
All concerts take place in the beautiful halls of Svenska Gustavskyrkan. The café is always open during the interval, with the opportunity to buy drinks, coffee and cake.
