Askov Højskole is a Danish folk high school in the small town of Askov, about three kilometres west of the railway town of Vejen in southern Jutland. It was founded in 1865 as a continuation, on Danish soil, of Denmark's first folk high school, Rødding Højskole from 1844, which, after the border was redrawn following the 2nd Schleswig War, had come under Prussia on German soil. The first principals of Askov Højskole were the couple Charlotte Schrøder (née Wagner) and Ludvig Schrøder. Source: Wikipedia (Askov Højskole)
