Faaborg Museum is a collection of paintings, sculptures, architecture and furniture art, gathered mainly from the circle of Funen artists who, together with the founder, the canning manufacturer Mads Rasmussen, created the museum in 1910 in Konservesgaarden in Fåborg. The collection comprises primarily works made in the period 1885-1925, and the museum continues to acquire works of relevance to the historical collection. The circle of the Funen Painters consisted, among others, of Peter Hansen, Fritz Syberg, Johannes Larsen and Poul S. Source: Wikipedia (Faaborg Museum)
