Trolltog - a Musical Fairy Tale about Edvard Grieg

Description

In this family concert the actor Jan Ivar Bårtvedt leads the audience into Edvard Grieg’s imaginative world of sound. Through stories, music and small musical discoveries we meet shepherd boys, dancing notes, quiet moonlight and trolls approaching in the dark. Together with musicians from Arktisk Filharmoni, he explores how music can create images, moods and stories. Along the way we get to know the instruments that give life to Grieg’s music, and hear how they can whisper, sing, dance – and perhaps even cast a little troll magic. The concert ends with a singalong as we sing Grieg’s beloved «Fola, fola, Blakken» together. Join us for a playful concert experience for children and families. Free admission!
