Virvelrommet

Description

Virvelrommet / The Vortex Space is an arena for sharing, dialogue and experiencing artistic work. The room is open, so you are welcome to be there for the whole opening time if you like. Here there will be playing and sharing of music from the whole spectrum of styles and genres that we perform and create at NMH. There will be presentations in many different formats, and group conversations you can sit down and listen to or take part in. In the in-between spaces it will be quiet, where you can walk around and experience installations, texts and books that various NMH people have placed around the room. What is Virvelrommet? - An open stage, with low-threshold booking of musical contributions from students in combination with live R&D/artistic development sharing from staff and research fellows - A salon for sharing, debate and discussion about art and knowledge, with participants of different backgrounds, ages and viewpoints, including guests from outside - An installation and sharing arena where you can show your work in the formats that suit it: video on a large screen, small video screens with headsets, reading or listening stations. Subject to change. CC: Free admission Photo: Sigurd Ytre-Arne
