The pianists Adam Rischel and Arthur Di Francesco explore the Romantic tradition across national borders, through works that reflect the musical character of different countries. The programme offers excerpts from two central cycles in the piano literature: Sergei Rachmaninoff's (1873–1943) Moments musicaux, Op. 16, and Enrique Granados' (1867–1916) Goyescas, Op. 11.
