Description

Nothing disappears. The traces of time, people and experiences remain in us and have an effect. So too for composers. In this concert we listen to how the past still works in the present, through composers' different ways of relating to our musical heritage. How music carries with it both what has been and what points onwards. Here the personal and the historical meet - not as explanation, but as resonance. As if the music lets us hear time through a filter, where past and present glide into one another.
