Let yourself be surprised and thrilled in Northern Norway's largest cultural centre - welcome to Harstad Kulturhus!
Harstad Kulturhus is located at the end of the harbour promenade, and welcomes the audience with a striking view of sea and mountains.
Since opening in 1992 the cultural centre has been one of the town's main attractions, and is not without reason called "the town's great hall". The main hall has a capacity of 1000 audience members, and a large, modern stage means the building can receive everything from symphony orchestras, opera performances and theatre performances to big rock concerts.
In addition we have a black box that holds up to 165 audience members, and here there is room for more intimate performances. During a year about 45.000 people make their way to Harstad Kulturhus, whether it is to attend a concert with national and international stars or to see local performers on stage.
Harstad Kulturhus invests in a broad offering and provides experiences in many different genres. In addition to housing professional artists, the building is also an important arena for the town's amateurs of all ages.
