Beethoven 5 and 6

Description

Two of Beethoven's absolute highlights. The concert contains two of Beethoven's absolute highlights, from the gripping, dramatic and expressive music of the Fate Symphony to the lyrical joy, calm and unfolding of nature in the Pastoral Symphony. The two symphonies were premiered at the same concert in Vienna in 1808. Ludwig van Beethoven is perhaps the most influential composer in classical music. He helped to introduce the Romantic era and set off a musical revolution. In 2027 it is two hundred years since he died. Harmonien played Beethoven when he was a contemporary composer. In the period from 1814 to 1825, symphonies by Beethoven were performed more or less every year. Programme: Beethoven / Symphony No. 5 “Fate Symphony” Beethoven / Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral”
