Edvard Grieg kor
The Norwegian vocal ensemble Edvard Grieg kor is the resident ensemble at Edvard Grieg's home, Troldhaugen. The choir's repertoire spans genres, and the singers are often heard together with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and as the core of the choir in the productions of Bergen National Opera.
Through performances in both Norway and abroad, the choir has achieved the status of a leading eight-voice a cappella ensemble, and a whole range of works and events have been dedicated to them, among others by well-known composers such as Jonathan Rathbone and David Lang.
