BaroqueAros
BaroqueAros is a professional baroque ensemble founded in 2009. The ensemble plays baroque music on original period instruments, i.e. with gut strings and low pitch.
BaroqueAros was positively received by both audience and press from the very start. After the first concert in August, Aarhus Stiftstidende wrote: "Refreshing! BaroqueAros looks set to become a welcome addition to the city's musical life."
BaroqueAros consists of a core of 7 musicians, but is happy to expand - as needed - with regular guest musicians to a larger ensemble. The regular line-up consists of two violins, viola, cello, double bass, harpsichord and oboe/bassoon.
