Det Kongelige Teater (Gamle Scene) is a Danish theatre that has stood on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen since 1748. First as the king's stage and later as the stage of the whole country. It was remarkable to have all four art forms: drama, opera, ballet and orchestra in the same house!
