Figura Ensemble
A mezzo-soprano, three musicians, a composer, an architect and a poet –
FIGURA Ensemble is a musical collective in a class of its own.
Individually, the seven artists of FIGURA are among the most prominent in Denmark –
Helene Gjerris · mezzo-soprano, Jesper Egelund · double bass, Frans Hansen · percussion, Anna Klett · clarinet, Peter Bruun · composer, Filippa Berglund · architect and set designer, and Ursula Andkjær Olsen· poet.
Over the last 25 years FIGURA has challenged both collaborators and audiences with exceptional concerts and modern music drama – not to mention the Små Komponister workshops, which reach out to the coming generation of music lovers.
